Web design for accountants
Hand-built websites for UK accountancy practices. Trust signals, clear fees, and a site that handles January without you lifting a finger.
01 / Why your firm needs more than a brochure
Most accountants' websites look like a 2014 template, and prospects can tell
An accountancy website has one job before any other: prove you are real, regulated and easy to talk to. The decision to switch accountants is high-stakes and quietly emotional. People scroll your site looking for reasons to trust you, then for reasons not to. A stale template, broken contact form or missing fees gives them the second one for free.
We build sites that lead with your qualifications, lay out your fees honestly, and turn casual visitors into booked discovery calls. Hosting, SSL, backups and ongoing changes are all in one monthly plan, so you never have to chase a developer in the middle of self-assessment season.
02 / What you get
Built around how accountancy clients actually buy
Every part of the site is designed to move the right prospect from search result to booked call.
ICAEW, ACCA and AAT trust signals
Your qualifications front and centre, with badges, registration numbers and a verified-firm footer. The first thing a prospect checks before they pick up the phone.
Service pages written in plain English
Year-end accounts, self-assessment, payroll, VAT returns and corporation tax explained without jargon. Each service has its own page so Google sends the right enquiry to the right place.
Fixed-fee pricing on the page
We help you publish clear monthly or annual fees by client type. Sole trader, limited company, landlord, contractor. No 'request a quote' walls that scare people off.
Making Tax Digital ready messaging
Pages that explain MTD for VAT and the upcoming MTD for income tax in language clients understand, with a clear next step to get them signed up before deadlines bite.
Onboarding form to client portal
A single new-client form that captures UTR, company number, software preference and ID upload, then drops a tidy email straight into your inbox. Faster than the back-and-forth.
Built for January survival
We bake in deadline banners, opening hours, and a 'book your self-assessment slot' CTA that stops the late-January phone tsunami before it starts.
03 / How it works
From first call to live site
Practice review
We spend a call understanding your client mix, fee structure, software stack (Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent) and which services you actually want more of.
Service map
We map out one page per service, draft your fee tables, and decide what goes above the fold. You see a clickable preview before any code is written.
Build and compliance check
We build the site, wire up your contact and onboarding forms, and run the privacy notice past your existing GDPR wording so nothing slips through.
Launch and seasonal updates
We go live, then update deadlines, fee tables and seasonal banners on request. You email, we change. No CMS, no plugins to update.
FAQ
Common questions
Can you display my ICAEW or ACCA registration?
Yes. We add your firm number, regulatory body and any practising certificate references in the footer and on your About page. We can pull in the official member badges where your body provides them.
Will you publish my fees on the site?
Only if you want to. We are big believers in transparent fixed fees because they save everyone time, but plenty of practices prefer 'from £X' or a tailored quote form. Your call, and we can change it later.
Can the site send new client info straight into my workflow?
Yes. The onboarding form can email a structured summary, drop into your CRM, or fire to a webhook. We do not build a custom client portal, but we hook neatly into Karbon, Senta, TaxCalc and similar tools.
Do you handle the GDPR and privacy notice?
We add a privacy notice tailored to an accountancy practice, with cookie controls and the right ICO references. If you have wording from your professional body, we use that as the source of truth.
What about Making Tax Digital for income tax?
We add explainer pages and a sign-up flow for MTD ITSA so landlord and sole-trader clients understand what is changing and book onto your service before the deadline.
Can I keep my existing email and domain?
Yes. You keep your domain in your name, and we connect whichever email host you use (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, IONOS). Nothing about your practice's identity has to change.
Ready for a website that earns its fee?
Start on the free plan. We design, build and look after your practice site for a flat monthly cost.
