Web design for financial advisers

Hand-built websites for UK IFAs and financial planners. Compliance-friendly copy, transparent fees, and a booking flow that fills your diary.

01 / Why an IFA site has to be different

People hire financial advisers slowly. The website has to earn that slow yes.

A prospective client will read your homepage, your About page and at least one service page before they even think about an enquiry. They will weigh your fees, your credentials and your tone against three other firms before making a shortlist. If your site reads like a brochure or hides the prices, you do not get on the shortlist.

We build IFA sites that lead with clarity: real fees, real qualifications, real case studies, real photos. Compliance copy lives in the right places, not bolted onto the homepage. Hosting, security, ongoing changes and quarterly refreshes are all in one monthly plan.

02 / What you get

Built for the way clients buy financial advice

Each section earns trust before asking for a single piece of personal information.

Consumer Duty aware copy

Service descriptions written with the FCA Consumer Duty in mind. Foreseeable harm, target market and value statements all sit naturally in the page rather than tacked on as a disclaimer.

Fee structure on the page

Initial advice fees, ongoing percentages and minimum portfolio sizes laid out clearly. The clients you actually want will respect transparency. The ones who do not, will not waste your time.

Service pages by life stage

Retirement planning, pension consolidation, inheritance tax, investment, protection. One page per life event so the right enquiry lands without you fielding mismatched calls.

Calendly or Acuity discovery booking

A live booking widget that lets a prospect drop into your diary in two clicks. Firms that switch from contact form to live booking usually see enquiry volume jump within a fortnight.

Verified credentials and Statutory Status

Chartered status, your FCA number, network details if you are an AR, and Statutory Status copy in the footer. Plus team bios with CII or PFS membership badges.

Confidential contact handling

No marketing pixels on enquiry pages, encrypted form submission, and a privacy notice that reflects how IFAs actually handle sensitive data. Built for an audit, not a checkbox.

03 / How it works

From first call to live site

01

Proposition workshop

A short call to nail your target client, your fee model and the services you want the site to lead with. We pick the 2-3 angles that matter most for your audience.

02

Compliance-friendly draft

We draft the page copy with Consumer Duty and financial promotion rules baked in, then share it with you and your compliance officer for review.

03

Build and book

We build the site, wire up Calendly or your preferred booking tool, and connect a tidy enquiry form to your inbox or back-office system.

04

Launch and quarterly polish

We go live and refresh case studies, fees and team profiles whenever you ask. Quarterly polish is part of the plan, not a cost.

FAQ

Common questions

Will the site meet financial promotion rules?

We build it to. Page copy avoids guarantees about returns, balances any benefit with the relevant risk, and includes the right risk warnings on investment and pension pages. Your compliance officer should sign off the wording before launch, and we give them a clean staging URL to do it.

How does Consumer Duty affect my website?

Your site is the first 'communication' a client sees, so it has to make foreseeable harm hard to walk into. We help structure service pages around target market, fair value and clarity, with target-market notes on each service so you can evidence the thinking later.

Can I take bookings directly from the site?

Yes. We connect Calendly, Acuity or your existing booking tool so prospects pick a slot and add it to your diary in two clicks. Far less back-and-forth than email tag, and prospects actually show up because they chose the time.

Can the site connect to my back office?

Enquiry forms can post to Intelliflo, Salesforce, HubSpot or a webhook of your choice. We do not write custom integrations, but we make sure the data lands somewhere you can act on.

Are the team bios really worth the effort?

Yes. Clients hire people, especially in financial advice. A proper bio with photo, qualifications and a sentence about how you work usually outperforms three pages of corporate copy.

What about cookies and tracking?

We add a proper consent banner that defaults to off for non-essential cookies. We do not load marketing pixels on confidential pages. The privacy notice is written to ICO guidance for financial services.
