Web design for builders
A confident, well-built website for UK building contractors. Designed to win extensions, lofts and serious refurbs.
01 / Why this matters
A builder's website is the first job interview
Homeowners spending big money on an extension do not pick a builder from a paid ad. They get three quotes, then they spend the next week looking up each company online. The website is where they decide whether you are the safe choice or the risky one.
We build sites that win that interview. Big project photos, clear service pages, visible accreditations, and an enquiry form that asks the right questions before the first site visit. The kind of site that makes a homeowner relax instead of squint.
Then we keep the site updated as your portfolio grows. New finished job, new case study. New trade body, new badge. All on one monthly plan with no extra invoices.
02 / What you get
Built for the way builders actually win work
Everything a building contractor needs, included by default.
Project galleries that look serious
Extensions, loft conversions, full renovations. We build a gallery format with progress shots, finished photos and a short paragraph per project, not a chaotic dump of phone photos.
Service pages for each build type
Separate, properly written pages for extensions, lofts, refurbs, garage conversions and groundworks. Each one targets the way homeowners actually search at the start of a project.
Trust signals at the top
Federation of Master Builders, TrustMark, Checkatrade, CHAS or your insurance. Visible above the fold so a homeowner spending six figures knows you are not a chancer.
Quote forms with the right questions
Type of project, postcode, rough budget, ideal start month. You arrive at the first site visit already briefed, instead of asking the same questions on the doorstep.
Architects and homeowners both served
Two clear paths through the site. Architects looking for a reliable contractor get one route, direct-from-homeowner enquiries get another, both ending in a useful enquiry form.
Reviews and case studies
Real homeowner reviews from Google and a small set of detailed case studies for the projects you are most proud of. Used for tender packs, not just decoration.
03 / How it works
From first call to live site
Talk
We sit down and work out what kind of work you want more of. Big extensions? Lofts? Period restorations? The site gets shaped around it.
Design
A clean, confident layout that makes the work the hero. Architecture-friendly typography, big photos, no clutter. You see a preview before any build starts.
Build & launch
We build the site, sort hosting, point the domain, wire up enquiry forms and connect Google Business Profile. Live in two to three weeks from sign-off.
Add as you go
Finished a job? Send us the photos and a paragraph. We add a new case study within days. The site keeps getting stronger as your portfolio grows.
FAQ
Common questions
How much does a builder's website cost?
Plans start at £79/month and cover everything: design, build, hosting, SSL, monitoring and any changes. No setup fee, no contract. You can leave whenever and take the domain with you.
I do six-figure extensions. Will the site look serious enough for that?
Yes. We design hand-built sites with proper typography, large project photography and a confident tone. Nothing on the site will look like a Wix template, which matters when a homeowner is choosing who to spend £150,000 with.
How often can I add new projects?
As often as you finish them. Send us photos and a paragraph through your portal, or text them, and we will add a new case study within a couple of working days. There is no extra cost.
Can the site help with tender or pre-qualification submissions?
Yes. We can build a 'capability statement' style download, list your accreditations and insurances cleanly, and make sure your case studies print well. Builders often link to a specific page when applying for framework work.
What about reviews from Google?
We pull your real Google reviews onto the homepage and refresh them automatically. We can also build a dedicated 'what clients say' page with longer testimonials if you have them.
I have a really old site. Can you migrate it without losing rankings?
Yes. We map the old URLs to the new ones, set up redirects properly and keep the domain. In most cases ranking actually improves after migration because the new site loads faster and reads better on mobile.
